These alpine huts are excellent rest points thanks to their indoor hospitality and the large sunny terrace outside. They are open in winter and are therefore among the preferred destinations for those who want to spend a day on the snow.

There is a forest road connecting these two huts, very close to each other. The proposed itinerary here instead offers a loop for those who want to walk a bit on the snow and venture into the woods before returning to the classic packed snow forest road.

    Author’s recommendation

Both the Cloz and Revò alpine huts are well exposed to the sun and are open on winter weekends. There are gentle slopes for sledding, which is why they are also appreciated by children!

    Safety information

The route does not present particular technical difficulties. However, you must be familiar with the snow-covered environment to tackle it. Alternatively, we always recommend relying on a mountain guide in one of our guided winter excursions: book here comfortably online

    Tips and suggestions

Before undertaking a snow excursion, always check the avalanche bulletin here!

    Roadbook

From the parking lot follow the clear signs for the forest road that leads to the nearby Cloz alpine hut. From the terrace of the hut continue for a few meters until the fence, then leave the forest road to climb on the right through large snowy meadows. This is path 7 which reaches the area near the ruins of the old Cloz alpine hut.

Here you cross path 133 and take it to the left. The path crosses the woods on a gentle slope and then quickly descends to the Revò alpine hut.

From the hut then follow the wide flat forest road that leads back to the Cloz alpine hut and the parking lot.
